A time to change.
The parking lot.
In a parking lot he asked “how do we rectify this problem?” The problem he referred to was our gas powered mowers. This question challenged my current paradigm that electric wasn’t yet a viable commercial option, to ask…how can it be viable?
Begin with the end in mind.
It all begins with an idea. We began by asking where is all this going. Electric was the obvious answer, but most current equipment wouldn’t get through a full day on a charge. The answer was redundancy and mobile charging. This was looking expensive but…possible.
The vision unfolds.
Total Eco-friendly electric…equipment, tow vehicles, solar charging. Equipment brand was a no brainer. Greenworks Commercial is an innovator in the industry and offers a full line of equipment. A fully outfitted trailer with onboard charging support became the phase one goal.
The future.
There are several manufactures developing light electric trucks and though not yet available, a heavy duty version is inevitable. We also believe that solar charging is the perfect trifecta. Totally clean, totally green. That’s the eLawnz vision.
Pit crew.
The epitome of efficiency in action. The pit crew concept. No wasted energy. Every move has purpose. Oneness even in looks. We are bringing that concept to our grounds crews through company apparel, personal and team development as well as work process implementation.
Partnering.
In order to provide the best knowledge in each area of our industry we chose a partnering concept. Utilizing a combination of sub contractors and employees for horticulture and other non-mowing tasks allows us to have more focus and knowledge in serving our clients.
