The First Month

The first month of our new endeavor is in the books. From having the support trailer wrapped, receiving the new apparel, taking delivery of some of the new equipment to our first mowing it’s been a lot of work. The response has been incredible. So many people that see us stop to talk and ask questions and show support for our vision.

We are already just about at capacity for the first crew and rig for this season. It will take some time to iron out final work flow and develop all the processes. We still have to figure out the onboard charging support for all the hand tool batteries and get the trailer kitted out for all the equipment so we can just plug in the trailer at night and charge everything at once. We also purchased a smaller enclosed trailer to be able to split the crew for smaller properties and that will need all the same equipment but in a scaled down version.

Creating a new model of an old business is more of a challenge than one would imagine. You are challenging the status quo. You are even challenging your own thinking and breaking out of old paradigms. Much of what has been accepted as best practice for so long needs to change (I’ll post about some of this soon) but that is also exciting.

Keep checking in for updates and share what we are doing with your friends.

Thanks for following along on our adventure!
